FAQs

What is a Donation ? and How can I make it to EGN Ministries?

A donation is a gift for charity, humanitarian aid, or to benefit a cause. A donation may take various forms, including money, alms, services, or goods (For eg : car, bike, cloths, Jewels, assets). In EGN our church members make online payments as regular offerings and tithe to the church. During regular Church services and church events church offerings when taken  will also  be considered as a donation. All money and any related contributions are collected and valued and deposited in the charity account. Online donations can be made to the EGNM Bank Account  via online  bank transfer. Donations can also be made on the donation page on our website.

What is Gift aid?

Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows charities to reclaim the tax that you have already paid on your donations through income tax or capital gains tax. All donations (excluding those made through the Charities Aid Foundation and payroll giving), made in the last four years are eligible for the scheme – including regular gifts such as standing orders and direct debits.

Do I need to make a declaration every time I donate?

No. You just need to  fill out a Gift Aid declaration and date it – then it will cover donations you have already made to EGN Ministries  and any donations you make in the future. There is no extra paperwork – we deal with the tax office to reclaim the tax. All we need is your form.

Can I contact you if I have further questions?

Sure you can. If you have any further questions – or if your circumstances change you can email us at info@egnministries.com
